The blessing cup that we bless is a communion with the blood of Christ.
How can I repay the Lord for his goodness to me.?
The cup of salvation I will raise,
I will call on the Lord’s name.
O precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his faithful.
You servant, Lord, your servant am I,
you have loosened my bonds.
A thanksgiving sacrifice I make.
I will call on the Lords name,
my vows to the Lord I will fulfil before all his people.
Psalm 115 is a hymn of trust and the assurance of divine blessing.
This beautiful hymn is part of Holy Thursday Eucharistic celebration.
The trust and assurance of divine blessing is very much part of the liturgy.
As we pray this hymn and sing, we are thankful for all God’s blessings in our lives. Amen.
