New Leadership Team for Apostolic Sisters

| November 21st, 2012

About forty Holy Family Sisters gathered  at the Provincial House in London, on 17 November 2012, for the installation of the newly appointed Leadership Team. There was an atmosphere of thanksgiving, joy and hope during the simple, intimate  celebration.

At a first gathering in the chapel, Aine Hayde, the outgoing Leader, thanked the new Team for their willingness to accept the service of leadership and assured them of the good wishes and support of all the sisters in the Province. The prayer that followed spoke of oneness in love, trust and eagerness in changing times, patience as we go towards the priorities we have set ourselves, priorities that Margaret Muldoon, our General Leader, described as “dynamic and life-giving”.

From L. to R. Bernadette Deegan (Councillor), Carmel Bateson (Bursar/Councillor), Gemma Corbett (Provincial Leader), Kathleen Diamond (Councillor), Catherine Lavery (Councillor)

The formal reading and signing of the official document appointing the Team mandated them and all the members of the Province to go forward in the way set out by our priorities on a journey of faith and trust. Then it was time for congratulations and communion in companionship and feasting.
