Travelling around from village to village Jesus must have noticed how eager and hungry they were for his teaching. Jesus here entrusts them with his own mission and sends them out in pairs. I wonder how they felt that very first time they are entrusted with the mission of jesus,
Prayer
Jesus you share your mission with all of us no matter where we are. Give us a true knowledge and love of you so that we may fulfill your mission as best we can and where we can. Let us not miss the opportunities you put before us, give us a taste of your zeal and may we ever be compassionate and truthful. Amen
