"‘’It is from within, from the heart, that evil intentions emerge.’’"
Mark 7 : 23
Jesus continues to speak to the people about clean and unclean but the disciples feel they need a further explanation, as they too had been brought up by the tradition. Jesus is quick to explain that it is from within deep in our hearts that evil can come. Food has nothing to do with it.
Prayer
Jesus in your merciful love, look into our hearts so that at all times and all places a welcome is there for you. Amen
