"‘’How many loaves have you?’’"
Mark 8 : 5
For three days now the crowds of people have been with Jesus. They are far from home. Jesus shows his concern but the disciples admit to Jesus they have seven loaves and a few small fishes. Immediately Jesus gets the crowd to sit down. After giving thanks he broke the bread, blessed the fish and the disciples distributed the bread and fish.
Prayer
Jesus, may we always be ready to share our food with the hungry and may you always be our food in the Eucharist. Amen
