Eighth Sunday of the Year

God our Father,  your Son Jesus said; ‘Come to me all you who are overburdened and I will give you rest.’ (Matthew 11 : 28)   He showed us what you are like,  especially in his concern to free people from the weight of sin and guilt.  I bring to you now all that troubles me,  and I ask for your healing touch on all of my life.  Amen
