Prayer of the Day
Feast of Ss Timothy & Titus, Bishops

"The Scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying; 'Beelzebul is in him and it is through the prince of devils that he casts out devils.' So Jesus spoke to them in parables."
Mark 3 : 22
Jesus does not cast out devils by the prince of devils. In the Gospel Jesus puts the cost of unity in terms of a strong and continuous loyalty to the Holy Spirit and an unswerving rejection of Satan. There must be unity and wholeness about ourselves. (1) Our intellect united with our eyes that see the goodness in others. (2) Our intellect united with our memory and so arriving at the wisdom of good experience. Once we have achieved interior peace and unity in the Holy Spirit, then can we reach out and strive for peace and unity.
Prayer
Let us ask God to help us, let our union with others reach into the roots of our existence. Amen
