"So do not be afraid." Matthew 10 : 31

Jesus tells the Disciples about the inevitability of the coming of God’s Kingdom and His witness for it.   At the same time He reassures them about God’s loving care and protection,  and finally He talks about the final judgment before God.  The disciples will be judged based on their faithfulness to Jesus even in the face of numerous conflicts that they will meet during their mission.   Do not be afraid or terrified with fear.  It is hard enough indeed,  not to be afraid.  Courage and freedom from fear is a sign of mature faith.

O Lord help us to remain open to the Holy Spirit, who inspires us to offer clear testimony of your salvation through our words, deeds and entire lives. We ask you this through Christ Our Lord. Amen
