"Why should you be envious because I am generous?"
Matthew 20 : 15
Jesus has been explaining the kingdom of heaven by way of a parable. Some of the workers want to know why everyone gets the same wage, even though some have worked longer hours than others. Jesus wants to know why they find fault with his generosity.
Prayer
Jesus, teach me to be generous like you. You spent your life raising the dead, healing the sick. Teach me never to grumble when things do not turn out as I had hoped. Amen
