Feast of St. Martha

“Martha said to Jesus, ‘Lord, if you had been here,  my brother would not have died,  but even now I know that God will grant whatever you ask of Him.'” (John 11 : 21)

St. Martha,  sister of Lazarus and Mary,  is a woman of faith who made her profession of faith in Christ as the Son of God, and in the Resurrection.  The dialogue between Jesus and Martha offers us a basic truth about Christian life,  if we believe in Jesus,  we believe in the Resurrection.
