First Week of Lent – Feast of St. John of God & St. Senan

March 8th, 2017

Let your light shine in my life, Lord,  so that I may have enough light to see my way to you and that I,  in my turn,  may be able to dispel the darkness from the lives of others.  Amen

St. John of God,  1495 – 1550,  devoted his life to the care of the poor and the sick.  He is patron saint of nurses,  the sick,  heart patients,  printers and booksellers.
