"Go, and proclaim this message; 'The Kingdom of Heaven is near.' Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers and drive out demons."

The Gospel today is like a missionary discourse and it emphasises two fundamental commitments of the disciples which are logically consistent with those of Jesus; to proclaim the Kingdom and to liberate people from evil and pain. The world is wide open to the evangelizer; some awaits his word while others reject it.
Prayer
Give us O Lord the courage to proclaim your message and always reach out to others. Amen
