"I tell you solemnly, no prophet is ever accepted in his own country."
LUKE 4 : 24
AT first the people are amazed at the words of Jesus and they told each other they recognised his family and so on but they soon changed their tune when he reminded them of their past. They planned to hustle him out of town with the intention of throwing him off the hill but Jesus escaped by slipping through the crowd.
Prayer
Jesus may we always be true to you and believe the truth from you. Give us a solid faith in your word and let us not be fickle minded. Give us the strength to always speak the truth in our daily lives. Amen
