Prayer of the Day
Fourth Week of Easter
April 19th, 2016
"If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly. Jesus answered; 'I have told you, and you do not believe.'"
John 10 : 24

In the context of the celebration of the consecration of the Temple of Jerusalem; Jesus responds to a provocation by the Jews. They expect an explicit answer so that they can accuse Him. Christ returns to the discourse on the Good Shepherd, from the perspective of the disciple, who listens and follows his teacher and shepherd. Those who are with Jesus are with the Father because the Father and He are one. The disciple can have full communion with God.
Prayer
All ye nations praise the Lord. Amen
