Prayer of the Day
Fourth Week of Easter
April 21st, 2016
"Truly I say to you, the servant is not greater than his master, nor is the messenger greater then he who sent me."
John 13 : 16

“He washed my feet” is a reflection of one of the twelve Apostles; Supper was special that night. There was both a heaviness and a holiness hanging in the air. Suddenly the One-Who-Loved got up from the table and put on an apron. God In An Apron! God himself knelt and said; ‘I choose to wash your feet because I love you.’ Then he handed me the towel and said; ‘As I have done, so you must do.’
Prayer
Lord help us to serve as you as you have served and loved us. Amen
