Fourth Week of Lent

“The works that the Father has given me to complete,  the very works that I am doing,  testify on my behalf that the Father has sent me.” (John 5 : 36)

Today we focus on the person of Jesus.  The Gospel reports three testimonies about him;  the miracles done with the power of the Father; the witness of John the Baptist and what the Scriptures tell about Him.  This man from Nazareth ought to be listened to and followed,  as the Father exhorts.
