Prayer of the Day
Good Friday
March 25th, 2016
"Since it was the day of preparation and the tomb was near at hand, they laid Jesus there. "
John 19 : 42
Jesus has had a long day suffering and being paraded around to the officials. He has been mocked, scourged and finally nailed to the cross Now it is the eve of the Sabbath so they all leave to prepare the Sabbath according to the Law.
Prayer
Jesus I see your sufferings and I want to tell you I love you, thank you and praise you on this special day when you are placed in the tomb. Your earthly life is over. Help me to be faithful to you. Amen
