Holy Thursday
March 24th, 2016
"I have given an example so that you may copy what I have done to you."
John 13 : 15
Jesus washes the disciples’ feet. Peter at first refuses but accepts when Jesus explains to him its significance. He then accepts it wholeheartedly. Jesus says it is an example we must follow. These days in our world he expects us to copy his example. He has acted as a servant. Looking around us we can find all those who are in need one way or another.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, remind us of your words and never let us forget them. Etch them in our minds and hearts so that we may be ever ready to do your will in the way you show us in our daily lives. Amen
