This is how the people acclaim Jesus as he enters Jerusalem. Jesus knows this is his last visit to Jerusalem and foresees what awaits him there. Some Pharisees object to Jesus about the words the people are using. Jesus defends the people saying if the people were silent the very stones would have cried out the words of the people.
Prayer
Jesus, I praise you in the same words the people did on this day. Teach me how to praise you from the bottom of my heart and keep me true to you as I move along on life’s journey to you. Amen
