Second Week of Lent – Feast of St. Cyril of Jerusalem

“This son of mine was dead and is alive again, he was lost and is found!  And they began to celebrate.” (Luke 15 : 24)

The Parable of the Prodigal Son speaks of each one of us.  It tells us of the welcome we shall receive when we meet God face to face in the sacrament of reconciliation.  It tells us how loving,  compassionate and forgiving God is.
