"I am the living bread come down from heaven."
John 6 : 51
The Jews have heard this now for the second time and they cannot accept it for they think they know his parentage. Jesus reiterates his statement. He goes on to list the properties of the bread he gives but is beyond their comprehension.
Prayer
Jesus I believe in your words and I accept you as the Bread of Life. Give me a deeper understanding of the mystery of the Eucharist. Restore in our nation, faith in your presence and your words. Amen
